Dr Peter Floros joins Sydney Children’s Hospital

We are excited to announce that Dr Peter Floros has been appointed to the ENT, Head and Neck department at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick.
If you’re experiencing any issues related to your ear, nose or throat – the first step is to see you GP. They can often help with these types of minor conditions such as sinus infections, sore throat or ear infection.
However, there are other conditions that require a review from a specialist in this area or perhaps the initial treatment from the GP was unsuccessful and you need further review. This is when it’s a good idea to see an ENT/Otolaryngologist.
Some examples of the most common ENT conditions that require a specialist include:
- recurrent runny nose, nasal congestion or sinus pressure
- recurring sinus infections, ear infections or throat infections
- ongoing episodes of dizziness or vertigo
- recurring tonsillitis
- changes in hearing, hearing loss or ringing in the ear (tinnitus)
- difficulty swallowing
- hoarseness or wheezing that doesn’t go away
- sleep conditions such as snoring or sleep apnea
- a noticeable lump, bump or mass that develops in your face or neck and doesn’t go away or gets larger
